Every Little Girl Wants To Become A Princess

The lessons we teach our daughters are best caught than taught.

Inspired by the ‘World of Fantasy’ in movies like The Princess Diaries where the main character ‘Mia’ discovers that she is a real princess and is heir to the throne of a fictional country called Genovia.

Mia undergoes preparation for this responsibility by having ‘princess lessons.’

The reality is that we ‘girls’ are actually daughters of the ‘King of Kings’. We are Princesses in our own right. We claim our birthright when we accept Jesus Christ as saviour and lord of our lives.

God himself declares this in Psalm45:13 ‘The Kings daughter within the Palace is all glorious: Her clothing is inwrought with gold.

Mothers and Grandmothers!  Therefore teach your daughters their true identity. Tell them about their inheritance and that their destiny is an actual place “Heaven.”

Give them ‘princess lessons’ in how to walk worthy of their standing. Train them up in the knowledge of the statutes of the King. Introduce them to the ‘Princess Lifestyle’ by instructing them in The Word of God!

Better still; reflect it in your own life. The lessons we teach our daughters are best caught than taught!
