The Lord is my Shepherd.

“Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals. How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.” Psalm 36:5-9 (NLT)

What he said!

Lord, David’s inspired words express the awesome majesty of Your Presence and yet You care for animals and people alike. You know the stars by name. A sparrow lands on a branch and You know it.

You are my Shepherd Lord. I know I can count on Your unfailing love, Your faithfulness, Your righteousness, and Your justice. I will fear no evil for You are with me and have things under control. When I look into space You are there loving me. The clouds may cover the sun and I cannot see it, but it is there just like You are there and You are faithful.

You see me. Injustice may seem like mountains too high, but Your justice is deeper than the ocean and higher than the mountains. You will make things right in Your time. Every knee will bow and tongue confess that You are Lord and you are our Shepherd.
