Hi, I’m Glenda Bezzant, married to Ivan Bezzant.  We have been married for 30 years.

Our family is Rebekah (married to Ben Eastwood) and Nathan (married to Jessica Campbell).   We have one grandson (Elisha William Bezzant).  Ivan and I are very proud of our family and know that God has fantastic plans for each of them.

Our officership began 31 years ago (for Ivan) and 30 years ago (Glenda).   My session “God’s Soldiers” was the last session to be fully trained in The Salvation Army Training College in Aro Street, Wellington.

Along with Ivan, I have held appointments in Woodville, Hawera, Massey, Upper Hutt, Sydenham, DHQ, Napier and THQ.  My present appointment is the Divisional Director of Women’s Ministries for the Southern Division, New Zealand, Fiji & Tonga Territory.

I am passionate about leading women to walk everyday life as a Daughter of the King of Kings.    My journey in life has been one of some dark days of depression, anxiety and stress, but through all this I have learned to take hold of life in such a way that I know God is with me in whatever situations I go through.

In my spare time I enjoy knitting, reading, shopping (especially for handbags), spending valuable time with my grandson (which I can’t do very often at moment).  I also have a favourite colour which I am able to display in my office, which is PINK.

God loves me and I know I am special to Him and as I live my life I pray people, both men and women, will be challenged and encouraged to live a life of joy in Jesus.
