Heart Matter…our children

For most of us parenting is determined by our own core values and morals.

Babies aren’t taught to be babies. They just are! What about parents?  Parents either get a crash course at parenting or they take the opportunity to attend a seminar.

Some parents wing it; take advice from other parents; do it their way; or base it on how they themselves were raised. Most of us Wing it! For most of us parenting is determined by our own core values and morals.

Have you noticed that we don’t need to train a child to be naughty? It just happens naturally. It is the responsibility of parents to teach children how to live good lives and to know God. However, even the best parenting does not guarantee a perfect outcome.  Even children raised in Godly homes with Godly principles can get side tracked and break a parent’s heart. Is your heart broken because of choices your children have made?

Look at these words in Jeremiah 31:16-17 (CEV) “But I, the LORD, say to dry your tears. Someday your children will come home from the enemy's land. Then all you have done for them will be greatly rewarded. So don't lose hope. I, the LORD, have spoken.” Remember: Stay focussed on the ‘Mission’ at hand. Your hard work will pay off eventually.
