The Lord is my Shepherd. The Lord, Creator, Word, Life Itself, Light…In the Beginning God…

When God created, He said, “Let there be…” and it happened. The Word was God’s expression of thought and desire. Did God ponder, wonder, consider, and weigh His thoughts before He spoke? Did God dream, design then create? The Word – written as Scripture for us to be able to understand God, speaks of plans – a plan, a grand design. The Lord, the Word, the Creator is my Shepherd, Owner, Guardian and Leader.

My life is in His hands. He leads me on the Light Path, the path of Life. Even when I go through the valley, the darkness cannot extinguish the Light. He is with me, guiding me through the valley, Storm Valley. The key is guiding me “through” it – we – I am not to stay in it. The Lord is my Shepherd and He leads me on Right paths, for His name sake. I can count on Him. His reputation, His name is one I can trust. He has given great thought to the design of my life and I can count on His plan. Genesis 1:1 John 1:1-5

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” Psalm 139:13-16 (NLT)
