The Lord is my Lifeguard. He watches over me. When I am in safe waters, He gives me assurance. He marks the boundaries and makes me aware of the tide. I can swim in peace and float in the calmness of His Presence. When I venture into deeper water, He keeps an eye out for sharks or other dangerous sea creatures.

He is the Master of the Sea and knows to watch the distance for a change in weather or the pattern of the waves that would cause a dangerous current. When I get in trouble, He rescues me. The Lord, my Lifeguard, has rescued me before…He brought me safely to the shore and breathed into me the breath of life. I use the anointing oil of sunscreen He provides and wear the sunhat and sunglasses of protection.

The Lord reminds me when it is time to eat and has provided the very meal I should eat - fresh clean water, protein rich food for energy and even a dessert. Others see how well I am cared for and want to share the feast. We invite them to join us and when they accept the Lord as their Lifeguard they too can feast. I would dwell on the beach front property of the Lord forever. Good weather and great fellowship are part of the deal! Gather together with me so that we can thank God and praise Him together.  Psalm 34

“The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.” Psalm 34:15 (NLT)
